Quality Commission

Composition

President: The Vice Rector for Planning, Studies, Quality and Accreditation.

Secretary: The Director of the Quality and Accreditation Area.

Members:

  • The Vice Rector for Employment, Lifelong Learning and Languages.
  • The Manager.
  • The Director of the Doctoral School.
  • A representative of the Center Directors or Deans.
  • A representative of the Department Directors.
  • A representative of the Directors of the University Research Institute.
  • A student representative. This committee may have an alternate appointed by the Student Council.
  • The Head of the Evaluation, Quality and Accreditation Service.
  • A representative of the Teaching and Research Staff with expertise in the field of quality.
  • A member of the Social Council.
  • A technical person from the Evaluation, Quality and Accreditation Service, which reports organizationally and administratively to the Vice-rectorate for Planning, Studies, Quality and Accreditation.

Fields of action

1.To assume responsibility for the Quality Management System of the Services of the Universitat Politècnica de València.

2.To assume the responsibility of the Quality Management System of the Official Degrees of the Universitat Politècnica de València.

3.Design, implement and manage quality assessment methods and instruments.

4.Define annual quality and excellence objectives and monitor their achievement.

5.To propose modifications to the Regulations for the functioning of the Quality Commission of the Universitat Politècnica de València, as well as its structure and functioning.
