Development of the SIQ_UPV in the plant

The development of the SIQ_UPV in the center reaches all the official undergraduate and master’s degrees that are taught in it, contemplating the planning of the training offer, the evaluation and supervision of its development, as well as the decision making oriented to the continuous improvement of the degrees and the optimization of the support services to them.

The SIQ_UPV is implemented in a top-down manner in the center, counting with aOwn Quality ManualAccording to its operation and characteristics, aligned with the UPV development of the set of dimensions and sub-dimensions of the framework model and linked to the general processes of the University. The Quality Manual includes the set of actions that take place in the center to ensure continuous improvement of the quality of the training offer;

Reports and evaluations

Quality in the center is measured by means of quantitative information (quantitative indicators of activity, results and satisfaction) and qualitative information that allow the evaluation of the fulfillment of the objectives, through the monitoring of both processes and services provided;

The Evaluation, Quality and Accreditation Service (SECA) makes all of this information available to the center through theAnnual report of title and center results.

Based on the results report, the responsible persons prepare the following reports:

These reports compile the analysis of the main indicators (activity, results and satisfaction), as well as diverse quantitative and qualitative information (surveys, poly[SQF] system, mistral, poly[consulta] and external evaluation reports of verification, follow-up and accreditation) reflecting the status and evolution of the training programs, as well as the deployment of the processes through the activity developed in the centers. They provide a comprehensive view of academic and organizational performance.

Thanks to this detailed evaluation, a solid basis for the continuous improvement of the educational offer is established, allowing the implementation ofimprovement actions oriented to academic excellence. In addition, it facilitates decision-making in institutional management and guarantees transparency in accountability to the different stakeholders, thus strengthening confidence in the educational system and its commitment to quality.

The Degree Management Report (IGt), serves as support for the preparation of the external monitoring and accreditation self-reports of the university degrees, developed in accordance with the guidelines set forth by the Agència Valenciana d’Avaluació i Prospectiva (AVAP).

Likewise, the Center Management Report (IGc) is the central element of the Internal Quality Assurance System of the UPV centers, being the main instrument designed to evidence its effective operation. Its structure and contents respond to the criteria and directives established by the Agència Valenciana d’Avaluació i Prospectiva (AVAP)) in SAIC’s certification processes, providing an integrated and substantiated vision of the degree of implementation and effectiveness of the different elements that make up the system, and supporting, in its systematic analysis, informed decision making and the proposal of improvement actions aimed at continuous improvement.

The main objective of the SAIC certification of university centers is to generate sufficient confidence in the institution and in its capacity to provide training that guarantees meeting the needs and expectations of stakeholders. This trust is based on transparency of public information and accountability.
