The MDPD_UPV defines the timetable for excellence and structures in levels, the progressive development of the teaching staff towards this excellence. Each level of the “development framework” is defined by particular criteria, each time more demanding. The proposed framework establishes 3 levels of teaching development for each of the different standards of excellence model, so that, in general terms, level 1 defines the minimum quality threshold to be guaranteed, level 2 defines the status of “good teaching quality” and level 3 includes the “teaching excellence” benchmark.
The MDPD_UPV is complemented by the whole set of plans, programs, resources and training offer developed by the ICE (Institute of Educational Sciences) that support the development of its teachers throughout their professional career.
