The basic objective of Universidad Politécnica de Valencia's Art and Heritage Collection is to promote and conserve university artistic heritage, creating fundamental connections between Art, Science and University.

This Department carries out important management, inventory, conservation and dissemination work on the collections. The conservation of UPV collections is fundamental for course development and the application of new methodologies.

The Department's main work in this area consists in guaranteeing the safety of the collections and disseminating studies to the collective of professionals and thus to society.
