Meridies – Cooperation Program
Thanks to the Meridies scholarships, the Gandia Campus students can take part in development cooperation projects and actions in developing countries in Latin America, Africa and Asia.
The selected persons collaborate during a period of 3 to 5 months with universities, Non-Governmental Development Organizations (NGDOs), international organizations, social entities and other actors in the international development cooperation system. In addition, if you need it, you will be able to validate the experience by company internshipsor ECTS credits of free choice. Likewise, field work can be the basis of the Final Bachelor or Master Thesis.
In the Modality A, the Center for Cooperation and Development (CCD) offers a list of destinations, always ensuring the necessary safety measures.
In the Modality B (former Development Cooperation Program), the only difference is that it is not the CCD that offers a list of destinations and projects, but rather it is the company itself; students submitting a work plan with all the necessary information: host country and organization, tasks to be performed, period of stay, etc. The CCD is in charge of validating the applications and verifying that the proposal contributes to a fairer and more sustainable world.
Applications until March 9 for modality A, and until March 23 for modality B.
