Erasmus+ Studies
The Erasmus+ Studies scholarship is part of the European Union’s international mobility program and allows students from the Gandia Campus to undertake an academic stay at a foreign university participating in the Erasmus+ program.
At the Gandia Campus, this mobility option aims to complement students’ academic training through an international experience that fosters the development of technical, linguistic, and personal skills, as well as exposure to different educational and cultural systems.
Participation in the Erasmus+ program guarantees the academic recognition of studies completed abroad and provides financial support to help cover the costs of the students’ stay during their mobility period.

Indicative Schedule
Regular Call for Applications
- November: for study abroad programs in the next academic year
- December: language proficiency tests (German and French only)
- January: Publication of provisional merit lists and ranking order
- February: Publication of final lists and assignment of spots
Extraordinary Call for Applications
Starting in March/April, the Internationalization Service (SINT) publishes the General Guidelines that allow for the launch of special recruitment calls. The Gandia Campus may decide whether or not to publish special recruitment processes through specific calls on AIRE. If a special call is issued, the deadlines will be communicated through the appropriate channels.
There are no French or German proficiency tests in the special admissions round
How to apply
The application is submitted exclusively electronically through the web app AIRE, available on the UPV’s staff intranet.

On the AIRE homepage, you can view the available calls for proposals at any time for the Gandia Campus and for your degree program.
Process
The SINT establishes the General Guidelines for mobility calls, which set forth the basic requirements, conditions, and common rules applicable to students from any campus and degree program at the Polytechnic University of Valencia.
Based on these principles, The Gandia Campus directly manages the rest of the transportation process through the International Office.

The specific details of each call for applications—such as available destinations, academic or language requirements, and the selection criteria—are outlined in each call published on the app AIRE.
The assignment of positions for the regular call for applications is carried out using a public selection of assignment (auction). Applicants are invited to participate in an auction in which they take part according to the order established in the ranking. Each student may select their desired placement from among the spots that remain available, provided they meet the established requirements, such as degree, specialty, or language proficiency.
The assignment of posts for the extraordinary call for applications, if applicable, is carried out using a preference list. The International Office assigns study abroad destinations based on the ranking and order of preference indicated in each student’s application.
