The Annual Report of the Research Ethics Committee of the UPV for 2025 includes the evaluation of 179 new projects, with a total of 303 assessments including revisions, representing a significant increase compared to the previous year. Most projects are related to research involving humans, followed by animals and, to a lesser extent, genetically modified organisms. The CEI plays a key role in ensuring good practices, addressing queries, and managing conflicts of interest and cases of misconduct. In addition, it promotes training, transparency, and continuous improvement in ethics and scientific integrity within the university.
