The Universitat Politècnica de València (UPV) is, according to El Mundo newspaper, the best university in Spain to study Fine Arts Bachelor Degree and the second-best national option to study Architecture, Biotechnology, Food Science and Technology, Agricultural Engineering and Telecommunication Technologies Engineering.
In addition, UPV is the third-best university in Spain to study Building, Civil Engineering, Industrial Technology Engineering, Mechanical Engineering and Chemical Engineering.
Overall, the UPV is the main alternative to the national dominance of the Madrid-Barcelona axis. Not in vain, the institution currently directed by José E. Capilla is the fifth university with the most remarkable presence in the ranking, only below four belonging to the duo above, and being the first technological in Spain in this field.
Specifically, in this latest edition of the 50 Degrees ranking, the UPV appears in a total of 13 Bachelor's degrees (only the 5 best universities to study each of them are included), adding to the 11 podiums the fourth national position in Electrical Engineering and the fifth in Computer Engineering.
At the regional level, the UPV's leadership is undisputed. Not in vain, the 13 presences of the UPV in the ranking exceed the sum of all the other Valencian universities together (12): University of Alicante (6), University of Valencia (3), Miguel Hernández University (2) and Jaume I University (1).
