As part of its social outreach activities, the Group offers advice to different entities both in the Global North and in the Global South, particularly to NGO and public administrations. Among its services, in provides consultancy and capacity building services in NGO management, project management and appropriate technologies for development.

Likewise, the Group gives advice and support to non-lucrative associations and enterprises in the North that pursue social inclusion.

The GEDCE has partnerships with a vast network of public and private entities:

Among the universities and research institutions with which the GEDCE collaborates, it is worth noting the following:

  • In Spain: University of Valencia, University of Alicante, Jaume I University of Castellón, Miguel Hernández University of Elche, Technical University of Catalonia, University of Barcelona, University of the Basque Country and ETEA (attached to the University of Córdoba).
  • In Europe: Institute of Development Studies (University of Sussex), International Institute of Social Studies (Erasmus University Rotterdam, Netherlands), University of Bielefeld (Germany), Internationales Hochschulinstitut Zittau (Germany), University of Nottingham (UK), Development Planning Unit (University College London, UK), University of Trento (Italy) and University of Pavia  (Italia)
  • In Latin America: Salesian Technical University (Ecuador), Javierana University (Colombia), Technical Institute of Comfacauca (Colombia), General Sarmiento National University (Argentina), Catholic University of Minas Gerais (Brasil) and Central America University of Nicaragua.

In the case of other public and private entities it is worth highlighting the following:

  • Among multilateral agencies: UN-Habitat (Nairobi headquarters) and UNDP (Guatelama headquarters).
  • Among aid agencies and public administrations: AECID (Spanish Aid Agency for Development), Spanish Foreign Ministry General Directorate for Planning Development Policy; Valencian Regional Government General Directorate for Inmigration and Cooperation for Development.
