Remote controls as point sources of infrared light

We propose different remote controls as point sources of infrared light. The light intensity is measured with a solar cell connected to a speaker. The recorded signal can be captured with a sound recorder, providing the basis for some practical demonstrations with infrared light. More information: https://arxiv.org/pdf/2501.02257
