Introduction to improvisation

Improvisation is one of the most characteristic aspects of Jazz. It consists in creating a melody suitable for a given chord progression. Generally, first the most suitable scales are chosen and then a solo is developed with their notes. IMPROCHART is an Improvisation Chart, based on the Chord Scale Theory, which gives us all the available scales for improvising on any chord.
