Ever heard of Net Zero?

In this video, which lasts just a minute and a half, you can learn about the projects making a difference towards climate neutrality. The Communication Area at the Universitat Politècnica de València has produced this video to publicise the activities of Net Zero UPV and its future projects.

Net Zero UPV is one of the Universitat Politècnica de València's most prominent sponsorship initiatives. Its aim is to make the UPV carbon-neutral through contributions from sponsors.

Four projects

So far, €48,000 has been raised, enabling the installation of twelve electric vehicle chargers across the three campuses. Other projects include green pergolas – serving as climate shelters and rest areas – which have already raised just over €5,000; outdoor water fountains; and solar panels to reduce electricity consumption.

Did you know that if you donate up to €250, you can claim 80% of that amount as a tax deduction on your income tax return? And there's more good news: if you live in the Valencian Community, you'll obtain an additional 20% deduction on the first €150. This means that, although the projects will receive the full amount of your donation, the financial burden on you will be minimal.
