Passing all your first-year modules comes with a reward
If you pass all your first-year undergraduate modules, we'll refund your tuition fees
[ 19/06/2026 ]
The Valencian Regional Government has given the go-ahead to the ‘University Boost: First Year Tuition-Free’ grants, which will refund the amount each student has paid for their first-year tuition fees for the 2025–2026 academic year, provided they pass all their modules.
All students born in 2000 or later who are enrolling for the first time on a full-time single or double degree programme, and who commit to continuing on the same degree programme in their second year, are eligible. Students must be registered as residents in the Valencian Community.
The Valencian Regional Government has allocated a budget of 20 million euros to these grants, and estimates that they could benefit around 20,000 students, representing almost all those who passed the PAU in 2025.
The terms and conditions of this call for applications specify that students will not need to apply for the grant; it will be awarded automatically. In this case, the universities will be responsible for verifying which students meet the requirements and for sending a list to the Valencian Regional Government by 31 October 2026. From this date onwards, the Universitat Politècnica de València will reimburse eligible students for the fees they paid during the 2025–2026 academic year (a standard tuition fee at the UPV costs 1,040.4 euros), as stated in the call for applications.
