Contributions to the Museum of Industrial Heritage and History of the Alcoi Campus of the UPV (MUPIH)
[ 03/02/2026 ]
The Museum of Industrial Heritage and History of the Alcoi Campus of the Universitat Politècnica de València continues to welcome supporters whose backing enables it to expand and adapt its facilities, improve the conservation of its exhibits and facilitate the transfer of machinery to exhibition spaces.
In recent weeks, two large companies have joined this cause with donations of €3,000 each: Caixa Popular and AITEX.
The support of Caixa Popular will contribute to the development of the MUPIH. It will also enable the organisation of talks and conferences to promote cooperativism and financial education. The agreement also includes launching challenges for students, focused on finance and applied economic training.
For its part, AITEX's contribution will enable continued development of the museum, reinforcing its role as a space for the conservation of industrial heritage and as an educational and outreach resource linked to the history of technical and industrial education at the Alcoi Campus.
Crowdfunding campaign
The Universitat Politècnica de València (UPV) has launched a crowdfunding campaign to involve individuals, companies and organisations as patrons of the Museum of Industrial Heritage and History of the Alcoy Campus (MUPIH). Donations will enable the museum to expand and adapt its spaces, improve the conservation of its pieces, and facilitate the transfer of machinery to the exhibition areas.
Through the UPV's patronage platform, anyone can make an online donation and learn about the pieces and stories that make up the museum's collection. In addition, contributions come with significant tax benefits: micro-donations of up to £250 are eligible for an 80% income tax deduction, in accordance with the provisions of the Patronage Law.
UPV Patronage
The UPV Fundraising Office is a platform for collaboration between society and the university, promoted by The Social Council. Inspired by the major fundraising models of American, British and Australian universities, the Fundraising Office seeks to involve social agents in actions that contribute to a better present and a more sustainable future.
