Following the online elections held on 12 February, it is now time to celebrate the inauguration ceremonies. Of the six schools that elected a director, two have so far held this ceremony, presided over by the Rector of the UPV, José E. Capilla, and in the presence of the Secretary General, Josep Antoni Claver. Ernesto Fenollosa Forner and Ignacio Andrés Doménech have taken up their new positions and have in common that they were both students at each of the schools they now run. They were also the only candidates in the election process. They will be the first to serve as directors for a single six-year term, as established by the Organic Law on the University System.

School of Architecture

Ernesto Fenollosa Forner has taken up his post as Director of the School of Architecture at the Universitat Politècnica de València. He replaces Ivan Cabrera, who has been Director of the ETSA for two terms, eight years.

He conducts his research in the field of Building Structures, where he has been recognised with two six-year periods of service.
