The Universitat Politècnica de València joins the three days of official mourning decreed by the Generalitat Valenciana

The Universitat Politècnica de València (UPV) joins the three days of official mourning decreed by the Generalitat Valenciana -from Thursday 31 October to Saturday 2 November- as a sign of respect, condolences and mourning for the victims of the wind and rain storm caused by the DANA.
For this reason, flags will also be flown at half-mast during this period.

The Universitat Politècnica de València (UPV) has decided to suspend classes, exams and all student activities on its three campuses, with the prevision to be scheduled for Monday, 4 November 2024.
As established in the UPV's Regulations for the Academic Regime and Evaluation of Students, exams suspended due to this emergency must be rescheduled 5 working days in advance.
UPV Staff
The academic staff, PI and PTGAS should avoid commuting and telework if access to their job involves a change of municipality or when reasons seriously hinder mobility in the city.
In addition, the Psychological Support Service will attend to the psychological needs of the university community affected by the DANA. Those interested should email the corresponding service, indicating their contact details and a brief description of the situation.
