The successive route academic programmes (PARS) are studies offered by the Universitat Politčcnica de Valčncia that can be chosen directly in the pre-registration process for a Bachelor's degree and a Master's degree - in the fields of engineering and architecture. The aim is to raise the profile of regulated professions that require a Master's degree to practise.
If you like engineering and architecture, the PARS option is undoubtedly advantageous. It allows you to choose the sum of a Bachelor's degree and the corresponding Master's degree directly at the time of pre-registration. However, it does not commit you, i.e. it shows your initial interest but does not oblige you to take the Master's degree.
In practice, it works like a double admission: choose the PARS you like best as your first option and then select the corresponding degree. You will end up with the same degree but with twice as many options.
When the time comes, you can enrol in the Master's programme even if you still have 30 ECTS credits to complete (including the Bachelor's thesis). For other students, this possibility is limited to 9 credits. In short, you will be able to start the Master's programme even if you still have some courses pending, an advantage that is not available to other students.
