46 degrees and rising

14 double degrees, 12 PARS, HAA mentions in all the degrees.... discover the full offer that the Universitat Politècnica de València has for you

[ 09/06/2023 ]

The Universitat Politècnica de València is launching 5,532 new entry places for the academic year 2023-2024, distributed in 46 bachelor degrees, 14 double degrees and 12 PARS (Academic Programmes with Successive Pathways), which are taught at the Vera, Gandia and Alcoy campuses. If you want to know more about each of them, look at our videos. In 92 seconds, we tell you the basics of each degree from the hand of a student and a qualified professional.

What's New in 2024

Among all this offer, we highlight the two new double degrees that, from September, will be added to the UPV degree catalogue: the Bachelor's Double Degree in Data Science + Industrial Organization Engineering and the Bachelor's Double Degree in Mathematics + Geomatic and Surveying Engineering. Both bachelor's degrees will be released with only 15 places because they are aimed at students seeking thorough training in mathematics and a high professional qualification.

HAA Mention for all

Another of the most attractive new features for the coming academic year is the HAA UPV mention (High Academic Achievement), which recognises the efforts of the most brilliant students. For the first time, this initiative applies to all UPV degrees -and not only to the six degrees that until now had an HAA group-. Thus, students whose average grade is in the first quartile and who fulfil other added-value conditions to their curriculum will include a mention of their performance in their European Diploma Supplement (EDS) and the rest of their official academic certificates.

PARS: all advantages, zero disadvantages

And for students interested in engineering and architecture, the PARS option is undoubtedly the most advantageous. It allows them to select directly at pre-enrolment the possibility of taking a bachelor's degree and its corresponding master's degree consecutively (but does not commit them to it).

And when the time comes, the students can enrol in the master's degree even if they still have to pass 30 ECTS credits (including the bachelor's thesis). For other students, this possibility is limited to 9 credits. In practice, this means that the students can start the master's degree even if they must pass undergraduate courses. This advantage does not apply to other students.

Choose your future. Trust the UPV

Whatever you choose, remember that the Universitat Politècnica de València is the best technological university in Spain, according to the Academic Ranking of World Universities (ARWU), known as the Shanghai ranking. And it is among the 250 universities with the highest employability in the world, according to the QS GER ranking.

To all this, we must add the more than a thousand agreements that allow the exchange of students with foreign universities; the international accreditations; the high rates of student satisfaction with the training received; the magnificent sports facilities, free of charge for the university community; the commitment to sustainability...
