Ask the Rector
José E. Capilla: "There should be fewer Face-to-Face teaching sessions"
[ 01/06/2023 ]
To improve the evaluation of cross-curricular competencies and make the student curriculum more flexible, to implement a system to assess the teaching activity, or to extend the university's schedules. These are some of the issues addressed by the rector of the Universitat Politècnica de València (UPV), Jose E. Capilla, and the student delegate, Rayan Faiz, in the first of the interviews of the program “Ask the Rector”, on the occasion of the second anniversary of his appointment as Rector.
The Collectives ask questions
This conversation begins with a series of interviews in which different representatives and members of the university community individually tell the rector their doubts and concerns.
Jaume Monfort (associate lecturer), Pedro Ramón López (UPV alumni), Pepe Sahuquillo (PAS UGT representative), María José Canet (PDI Gandía campus) and Manuel Pulido (coordinator of university research institutes) will continue the conversations over the next few weeks.
Every Thursday until July 6, a new interview will be released.
