The Universitat Politècnica de València (UPV) reinforces its commitment with educational innovation through the Digital Learning Office a service promoted by the Vice-Rectorate of Digital Transformation together with the Information and Communication Systems Area (ASIC). This initiative was born with the objective of fostering e-learning and online teaching MOOCs and the integration of ICT tools on campus.
He is in charge of coordinating key projects such as DigComp and DigCompEdu which allow to evaluate and improve the digital competences of citizens and teachers, respectively. In addition, it offers an extensive catalogue of technological aids for teaching. Among them are VideoApuntes, educational blogs and solutions integrated in PoliformaT for the creation and management of teaching materials. This ecosystem facilitates hybrid teaching and promotes the reuse of educational materials, with more than 11,000 resources available.
It also manages the presence of the UPV in MOOCs platforms, placing it among the 20 universities with the greatest impact worldwide in this area.
With this project, the UPV moves towards a more flexible, inclusive and technological education consolidating itself as an institution of reference in the innovative use of ICT applied to learning. ADIGITAL is, without a doubt, a key piece to face the challenges of university teaching in the digital era.
