The Vice President’s Office for Digital Transformation represents a key element in the comprehensive modernization of the UPV organization, promoting the strategic incorporation of digital technologies in university environments. Our work focuses on the upgrading of technological infrastructures.The digitalization of administrative and academic processes, as well as in the strengthening of the digital competencies of the entire university community.
We encourage the adoption of emerging technologies such as artificial intelligence and big data in teaching and research. In addition, we promote a transformation oriented towards innovation, institutional agility and interdisciplinary collaboration. Our vision is aligned with the current challenges of the digital society, looking for a university more open, flexible and connected to its environment capable of responding effectively to new educational, scientific and social demands.
The Digital Strategy will be the backbone to promote a culture of technological innovation and improve teaching and administrative processes. The production and use of audiovisual content will be promoted as a key tool in teaching, while ICT governance will be strengthened, establishing mechanisms for control, evaluation and continuous improvement.
