Our colleague in the Department, Dr. Ana Belén Anquela Julián, is leading a project that combines geographic intelligence, citizen science, and social media with police data to identify high-risk areas in the city of Valencia that may go unnoticed in official records, creating a map of the city that highlights the places where women feel most unsafe.
