What it is and How to participate
The Vice-Rector’s Office for Employment, Lifelong Learning and Languages and the Vice-Rector’s Office for Students and Entrepreneurship of the UPV organize the Route to Employment UPVa program to enhance your employability by accompanying you throughout your undergraduate studies.
If you are studying a UPV Degree from 1st to 4th grade You can begin to take control of your future career by taking a tour of the 3 phases of the Route.
At the throughout the year we are opening editions so that you always have it available, the dates are in the description of each phase.
The UPV Route to Employment is composed of three phases, R1, R2 and R3, which must be completed to obtain the certificate and the 3 ECTS credits. Phases:
- They are held at Poliformat, through the UPV Continuing Education Center.
- They are ONLINE AND ASYNCHRONOUS courses.
- They are passed with an evaluation (multiple-choice test) at the end of each one of them.
To obtain the certificate and the 3 ECTS credits you must be an undergraduate student and finish and pass the 3 Routes..

Phases of the Route to Employment UPV
R1Employability Activities and Services
Aimed atStudents from the first to the last year of undergraduate studies.
What it consists of: Through online videos you will know how to make your first CV and you will learn what they are and how to take advantage of: Social Action and Volunteering, Servipoli Foundation, Spontaneous Generation, Ideas, SIE.
Modality: Online –Duration: 20h
Dates: from June 16 to September 16, 2025
Enrollment: May 5 to June 30, 2025

R2Employability Training* : Employability Training* : Employability Training
Aimed at: students from the 2nd to the last year of undergraduate studies.
What it consists of: Online course where you learn:
- To start your job search.
- How to establish a professional project.
- Personal branding and social networks, LinkedIn.
- How to write a cover letter, Curriculum Vitae.
- Preparing for a selection interview.
- My strengths, resources, opportunities, network.
- Basic aspects of labor regulations.
- One option for your career: entrepreneurship.
Modality: Online –Duration: 30h
Dates: from June 16 to September 16, 2025
Enrollment: from May 5 to June 30, 2025

* IMPORTANT: People who have the certificate of Employability Training – online:
- you have to register in R2 to obtain the complete certificate of Ruta al Empleo UPV
- and request by e-mail to ruta@sie.upv.esthat they be validated.
R3: UPV Employment Route Notebook
Aimed at: students from the 3rd to the last year of undergraduate studies.
What it consists of: Online course on an orientation notebook, in which you reflect on these aspects:
- The job search process.
- I identify my strengths.
- I investigate resources and opportunities.
- I find interesting occupations and companies.
- I create my network of contacts.
- I set my short/medium term goals.
- I am expanding my network of contacts in social networks.
- Focused resume and cover letter.
- The job interview.
Modality: Online –Duration: 40h
Dates: from June 16 to September 16, 2025
Enrollment: May 5 to June 30, 2025

What do I get
- To learn about UPV activities and services that interest me professionally.
- Manage tools that will help me to enter the labor market.
- Deciding my career path: reflecting on how my academic decisions will impact my career.
- To become aware of the importance of my initiative and adaptation to change.
- FINALLY, when you finish the 3 phases of the Route, you will get a certificate and the 3 ECTS creditsthat the school/center validates.
Certificate:
When you have completed and passed all 3 phases, andthe minutes of the corresponding edition are closed.You will be able to download the accreditation certificate in PDF format from the Lifelong Learning Portal: https://poseidon.cfp.upv.es/portal-formacion/registro/identif.jsp in the menu on the left:Curriculum – Training – Other certifications.
With this certificate that accredits your passage through Ruta al Empleo UPV, you can obtain 3 credits as a reward for your effort by requesting it to your school/center. More information.
