
Training
One of the objectives of the Integrated Employment Service is to develop training actions focused on the following areas skills and capabilities that help to the students and graduates of the Universitat Politècnica de València in their labor insertion.
Our courses are online: asynchronous mode that is to say, flexible schedule. You will be able to access the contents according to your availability, without the need to be connected to a specific schedule.
Obtaining a certificate for each course can be validated for elective credits in undergraduate university activities. (equivalence 30 hours = 1ECTS).
INFORMATIVE NOTE: For the recognition of degree credits for the participation in these activities, regardless of the edition in which they are carried out, each activity shall only may be recognized only once.
The content of some of our courses is adapted for people with disabilities.

Assessment Center: Group Dynamics

15h (valid for 0.50 credits elective)
You will learn about different tests of the selection processes and you will have the keys to improve your behavior in them.
It will help you to have the necessary knowledge to overcome them.
Resume and cover letter

15h (valid for 0.50 elective credits)
In this course you will awaken the interest of those who read your CV and adapt it to what they are looking for, improve its presentation and enhance its content.
Contents:
- Elaborate the resume and cover letter adapted to the selection processes of the companies, as well as to their own specific characteristics.
- Elaborate and/or modify your resume, taking into account the different types, characteristics to be highlighted, as well as adapt it to the position or job offer for which it is to be sent.
Selection interview

20h (valid for 0.66 elective credits)
You will learn how to prepare for selection interviews, you will have lists of questions, depending on what they want to know about you, and we will give you tips on how to argue and be convincing, how to handle your body language and how to manage pressure situations that may arise.
Public speaking

15h (valid for 0.50 elective credits)
Most professionals at some point in their career have to make a presentation, that is why we have developed this course to facilitate the acquisition of this skill.
The course is designed for those who are beginning to make public presentations and need simple tools to improve their performance.
Contents:

- Self-analysis, tools for the analysis of your presentations.
Introduction to LinkedIn. Create your online profile

20h (valid for 0.66 elective credits)
You will learn how to create a LinkedIn profile that showcases your professional brand, expanding your network of contacts to open doors to new job opportunities.
Important: To take the course it is necessary to have an open LinkedIn profile.
Instagram as a professional tool

10h (valid for 0.33 credits elective)
Through this course you will learn how to boost your personal brand, as well as how to reach your target audience, generating community and developing an image strategy with your own universe, a space in the digital ecosystem where you can make your work known, creating synergies and a professional digital footprint.

Emotional Intelligence: A Key Element for Employability

15h (valid for 0.50 elective credits)
In this course you will learn what Emotional Intelligence is so that you can understand yourself and relate better with others.
Topics such as empathy, resilience, assertiveness and positive thinking will be addressed.
We will practice the concepts and support you in the activities to be performed.

Assertiveness in the Professional Environment

15h (valid for 0.50 elective credits)
Why do I feel bad when I say No? What do I do when I get compliments? How do I tell others that something makes me uncomfortable without upsetting them?
In this course we try to answer these questions allowing autonomous learning, online, and based on the practical application of the points developed.

Creative portfolio

10h (valid for 0.33 elective credits)
The portfolio is the definition of your capabilities and your own style to make yourself known to companies and clients. “What you can do and how you do it”
Beyond the different tools available to create it, this course deals with practical advice on how to create it and adapt it to the needs of each professional.

Working abroad
