The Warsaw University of Technology organised, from May 19 to 23, the workshop Inclusive Innovation: Co-creation of Smart City Living Labs, an initiative developed by ENHANCE in collaboration with NTNU and RWTH Aachen and financed by NAWA. This activity brought together 31 students from 9 universities of the ENHANCE Alliance in Warsaw—3 of them from the UPV. Before the face-to-face phase, participants completed three online sessions designed to prepare them for the design work.

Over five intensive days, the students worked on creating innovative solutions for smart cities, with a clear focus on inclusion, equity, and sustainability. The activities combined technological prototyping, validation with real users, business model analysis, and specialised workshops on people-centred design and social and environmental impact measurement.
I have very integrated what I do on a daily basis in my work as an architect. Here, working with other professional profiles, I have to adapt to different ways of acting and it is very enriching.

The workshop concluded with the presentation of the projects developed, in which each team presented its proposals for future Smart Cities projects. The solutions demonstrated a high level of creativity, interdisciplinary collaboration, and real applicability in urban environments.
