The ENHANCE Alliance presents the Certificate in Higher Education Teaching (CHET), an enhanced professional development program that builds on several years of successful Alliance-wide implementation. The 2026 edition introduces a modernised structure designed to better support academic and administrative staff in strengthening their pedagogical competencies and expanding their digital and didactic capabilities.
The CHET program offers a comprehensive course catalogue focused on innovative teaching methods, student involvement and advanced pedagogical development. Participants can take modules taught in a variety of ways: face-to-face, online or in hybrid mode at all ENHANCE partner universities. To obtain the ENHANCE CHET Certificate, it is necessary to complete at least one module from each of the three colour categories of the program:
- 🔵 Blue – Student Competencies
- 🟢 Green – Advanced Pedagogical Development
- 🟡 Yellow – Innovative teaching methods
This structure ensures a balanced and comprehensive training path. The courses are available at both introductory and advanced levels, making CHET accessible to doctoral students, recruits, experienced faculty, associate faculty, and administrative personnel involved in teaching support.
