From December 2 to 4 the Warsaw University of Technology (WUT) became the meeting point for the ENHANCE community during the ENHANCE Summit 2025, an event that brought together representatives from the ten institutions that make up the Alliance. The event was organised by WUT’s Center for International Cooperation, together with other university units and the ENHANCE Operational Office, with the support of NAWA, the Polish National Agency for Academic Exchange.
A metaphor for moving forward together
This year’s edition featured a symbolic motif woven throughout the programme: the paper boat, representing how individual contributions can collectively generate momentum. As part of the activities, participants had the opportunity to create their own boat, a simple gesture that evoked the joint construction ENHANCE’s future. This visual metaphor accompanied each day of the event, underscoring the importance of progressing together towards a more connected Europe that is better prepared for the challenges ahead.

Ideas that will shape the next chapter of ENHANCE
Over the three-day event, interactive workshops, co-creation sessions, interviews and student-led activities generated proposals that will help shape the roadmap for the next phase of ENHANCE. Discussions ranged from new formats of mobility and learning to collaborative models for addressing European challenges such as digitalisation, sustainability and scientific competitiveness.
As the fleet of paper boats grew throughout the venue, so too did new initiatives, joint projects and connections that will strengthen future cooperation among partner universities.
A closing that reinforces the spirit of collaboration
The ENHANCE Summit 2025 concluded with new ideas, ongoing projects and a renewed momentum to continue strengthening cooperation among Europe’s technological universities. Thanks to the support of NAWA and the hospitality of the Warsaw University of Technology (WUT), the ENHANCE community was able to advance together in its vision of a more innovative, connected, and better-prepared higher education system capable of addressing future challenges.
