“Andersen UPV Chair Conference: Challenges and future of electricity grids”.

The Andersen UPV Chair of Sustainability and Regulated Markets inaugurates the second edition of its academic activities with the celebration of its first event of 2026. The meeting will focus on the future of electric grids and will take place on January 28 at the Bancaja Foundation Center, Ausiàs March Hall, in Valencia.

Under the title “The Future of Electricity Grids: Regulation, Investment, and Climate Adaptation,” the event is conceived as a space for reflection and multidisciplinary debate, where experts from the institutional, legal, business, and academic sectors will analyze the main challenges currently facing electricity grids.

The program includes two roundtable discussions, which will address, from legal, technical, and economic perspectives, issues related to regulatory challenges, investment needs in electricity infrastructure, and the adaptation of networks to climate change, as well as the processes of digitization and modernization of the electrical system.

Through this initiative, the Andersen UPV Chair reaffirms its commitment to knowledge generation and the promotion of dialogue among the different stakeholders involved in the development of regulated markets and sustainability.
