Throughout the second semester of the 2024-2025 academic year, theAndersen UPV Chair of Sustainability and Regulated Markets has reinforced its commitment to the promotion of university talent, university-business collaboration and training in key areas for a sustainable and regulated future.
From training sessions to conferences and awards, we share with you a summary of the main actions we have carried out:
February
Session 1 – Compliance and corporate reputation
We have the participation ofEsmeralda IranzoCompliance Director at Andersen, andGuillermo SegarraCompliance Officer of Valencia C.F.
During the session we addressed how regulatory compliance strengthens organizational culture and protects corporate reputation, promoting ethical and responsible environments.

Session 2 – Tariff policy and taxation of international trade
The second day focused on the role of taxation and customs management in foreign trade.

Conference “Sustainability: the path to a responsible future”.
Co-organized withValencia PlazaThis event brought together professionals from the public and private sectors to discuss the sustainable transformation of the business fabric. The Andersen firm was part of Table 1, focused on good practices to move from a circular economy to a linear one. Meanwhile, the Chair participated in theTable 2dedicated to organizational culture as a pillar of sustainability in companies.

Session 3 – Registration and reduced working hours: legislative challenges and sustainability
Teresa Juan Ausina (Andersen) andMarina Folgado Mortes (Sésame HR) discussed how legislative changes related to working hours and remote work affect organizations, and what role sustainability plays in this new regulatory framework.
Session 4 – New trends in the residential market: the living market
José Antonio Solero Vázquez (Talvion) andCarlos Morales Ruiz (Andersen) presented emerging residential models such as thecoliving,flexliving ysenior livingThe legal, urban planning and investment implications in the Spanish context are discussed.
Participation in the X Meeting of Doctoral Students
The Director of the Chair,Virginia Vegawas a juror in this edition, reinforcing the Chair’s link with quality university research, with an ethical and sustainability perspective.
Awards for academic excellence
During the month of May, two calls for applications were also launched to reward university talent:
- Prize for the best Bachelor’s and Master’s Degree Final Project in sustainability and regulated markets (€1,000 each).
- Award for the best academic record in the Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration 2024-20251,000 €.
Both calls seek to encourage effort, innovation and commitment to a fairer and more sustainable society.

Corresponsables 2025 Yearbook Conference
The Chair participated in this conference co-organized by the UPV CSR Master’s Degree and other academic entities.
We are part of the table“Sustainability as a strategic axis of post-DANA reconstruction”. and share best practices in sustainable business management. A day to learn, connect and move towards more responsible organizational models.
