The Andersen UPV Chair participates in the X Meeting of Doctoral Students of the Universitat Politècnica de València

On May 22nd, the Andersen Chair of Sustainability and Regulated Markets participated in the X Doctoral Students Meeting at the Universitat Politècnica de València (UPV). This conference brought together doctoral students from different disciplines to reflect on the present and future of research.

Virginia Vega, the Chair’s director, was a member of the jury for the Pitch Challenge dynamic contest in which doctoral students presented their theses in only three minutes, evaluating not only the content, but also their capacity for synthesis, clarity, and disclosure.

In addition, the event featured a scientific poster exhibition where ongoing research projects were presented, and fostered interdisciplinary dialogue on how to do quality science in the age of artificial intelligence, with ethics, commitment, and creativity as fundamental pillars.

Other university chairs and classrooms committed to sustainability, such as the EMR Chair, the Mercadona IT Chair, the ENIA Chair, and the CIMSA Sustainability Classroom, also took part in the conference.

From the Andersen UPV Chair, we celebrate this type of spaces that promote responsible research, connected to social challenges and with real impact on the environment.
