It is our great pleasure to announce our 2024 International Week in our beautiful city of Leiria-Portugal!
Hands on deck if you want to take advantage of our weather, nearby beaches, good food a nice social program and a very friendly environment!
The week will be held between 20 and 24 of May and the main theme will be Critical thinking in the Digital Age. In fact how can we cope with information overload, where the internet is a melting pot of knowledge and ideas? Our students must acquire the ability to discern truth from misinformation and this is paramount. When we navigate the digital, the critical thinking and fact-checking emerges as our compass, guiding us through the complexities of this wonderful online world. We know that the theme is as much trending as the values of democracy are in crisis in several EU countries.
The idea is to elaborate on this, so we accept 5 minutes pitches from people who really connects with the idea, in spite of organizing ourselves some free seminars. We will have our traditional network fair, where partners can brings leaflets, brochures for a small venue that will help connecting with each other and also with the academic environment in Leiria!
