Optical signal processing in optical networks

Optical signal processing in optical networks

Description

The aim of is to provide knowledge to students about the main techniques and architectures for the optical processing of signals in the nodes of an optical network. Specifically, the following types of functionalities will be studied: packet switching and routing, wavelength conversion, optical regeneration, writing and reading headers.
