The Harmonic Wheel

First, the 3 basic principles in Western music are summarized. Then, they are graphically represented in a completely logical way. A new representation of notes, chords and keys is thus obtained, which is called Harmonic Wheel. This representation provides a complete and panoramic view of all relationships among the keys, not only those included in the traditional cycle of fifths, but also those involving the relative and parallel keys.
