The future chooses the Universitat Politècnica de València (UPV). A total of 8,536 students have chosen the institution directed by José E. Capilla as their first choice for their undergraduate studies, which is an all-time record for the Valencian academic institution, which has covered 99.4% of the places offered.
The figure takes on an even more significant impact in a context in which -with almost 10% fewer students taking the University Entrance Exams (PAU) this year in the Valencia Region (CV) than in the previous academic year- the UPV has offered 11.7% more places than in 2021-22: 5,485, compared to 4,910 in the last academic year.
The figures represent an increase of 21% compared to two years ago in terms of the number of students who choose the UPV as their first option, which is the number one preference for approximately 4 out of every 10 students in the region.
The success of the UPV's results also includes its two new degrees, as both the Bachelor's Degree in Transportation and Logistics Management and the Bachelor's Degree in Industrial Computing and Robotics have covered 100% of their places with applications as the first choice.
As for the cut-off marks of the UPV degrees, 15 exceed 12 points. This year's highest is for the Bachelor's Double Degree in Mathematics + Informatics Engineering, with a cut-off mark of 13.504.
