MA in Documentation (2nd cycle degree)
The studies leading to an MA in Documentation train professionals in the management and administration of information units (libraries and newspaper libraries or archives belonging to the media, companies, documentation and research centres), as well as in organising and disseminating the information contained in such units. At the same time, they also aim to develop computer applications for efficient information management.
Documentation graduates are trained to work as:
- Information/documentation administrators in the user service at any kind of information unit or service, and they can also develop their career in content management.
- They are prepared for jobs as information unit administrators, information consultants, knowledge management analysis and support in enterprises, managers of content departments in companies that develop Internet resources(or their assistants), researchers in media companies, and as consultants for planning and developing projects.
- Furthermore, their comprehensive training in the use of information technologies also enables them to work in fields related to information management.
