UPV students whose degree certificate has already been issued and subsequently lost, may request a duplicate copy, by contacting the Degree Certificate Unit.
In the case of loss of a degree certificate, it is and indispensable prerequisite according to art. 9.2. of the Order of 8 July 8 1988, to announced such loss in the BOE.


Process:
To start the process, if the degree certificate lost was obtained after the 3/01/1988 the interest person must contact the Degree Certificates Unit (*) where the appropriate BOE announcement will be made, and payment must be satisfied by him/her. After payment of the fee for publication in the corresponding bank, the person concerned shall hand in the receipt in the aforementioned Unit so they may proceed with the procedure for publication in the BOE, which usually take place between 6 to 15 days following submission of the application.

If after 30 working days from the date of publication of the notice the degree certificate was not found, the procedure for issuing the corresponding duplicate from the Degree Certificates Unit shall be initiated, where the interested person should finally request the duplicate and pay the fees corresponding to that effect.
