Prodalim, needs to fill a Scientist job position for a new line of business.The scientist is leading all activities associated with quality control of aromatic phases. The scientist takes care of the analytical method development, maintenance of GC and other analytical instruments, as well as of mapping raw material quality by sensory analysis. The Scientist must be able to work precisely and structurally. This role requires on boarding training in Munich and following execution of the role in Iberia Spain. Responsibilities · Lead the analytical quality control of aromatic phases; Focus on aroma and sensory analysis · Design, plan, evaluate and improve aroma analysis using GCMS with minimal guidance; Investigating new marker compounds for improved assessment of raw materials. ·Maintenance troubleshooting of GCMS. · Execution of sample preparation, analysis and data interpretation of aroma and sensory analysis · Recording all experimental data and test results accurately and in the specified format (written and/or electronic.) Updating / managing raw material databases. · Write / make documentational administration of product specifications · Supervise performance and evaluation of routine aroma and sensory analysis · Collaboration with different categories inside Prodalim to support aroma business; become the technical expert on Prodalim¿ s aroma portfolio · Well versed with regulatory guidelines, scientific literature and interpretation of the results to draw conclusions · Active participation in project meetings / networks / meetings and contributing to Team goals while meeting individual objectives. After a training period in Munchi, with expenses paid, the job will be in Alcacer (Valencia)

REQUISITOS

Bachelor's degree in food chemistry, food technology, chemistry or comparable working experiences. · Proven experience working in a lab, ideally in the aroma or food industry. · Related working experience operating GCMS equipment. · Solid Sensory and analytical skills. · Good working knowledge of MS Office Suite and database systems. · Ability to work autonomously and under pressure. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
