Resume

Profesor Contratado Doctor in the Department of de Continuous Medium Mechanics and Theory of Structures at the Universitat Politècnica de València (UPV). PhD from the Department of Construction Engineering of the UPV.

She teaches, mainly, in the Degree of Mechanical Engineering at the School of Design Engineering (ETSID) since 2007, and she is supervisor of one of the projects of the European Project Semester that is hosted in the ETSID. She has also participated in several teaching innovation projects, publishing articles at conferences in this field. She is also co-author of four teaching books.

The research activity is carried out at the Institute of Science and Technology of Concrete (ICITECH) of the UPV within the research "Building Construction systems", participating in both research projects funded through competitive calls and research projects funded by private entities.

She has participated in the design of the software of Load Transmission for the company Encofrados Alsina which has received the awards: "Premi Special Menció per Projecte Investigació-Software per a Càlcul d'Apuntalaments" by the Asociación de Consultores de Estructuras (ACE) (June 2013) and "Premio Ex Aequo: Software STC para el Cálculo de Apuntalamientos en Estructuras de Hormigón", by the Col-legi d'Aparelladors of Barcelona (CAATEEB) (July 2014).

Currently, she is also researching with the Pontificia Universidad Javeriana in Bogotá, where she has participated, among others, in the project "Experimental and numerical study of the load transmission between shores and slabs during the construction of buildings with industrial systems."
