Procedures after entry into Spanish territory

After entry into Spain with the corresponding visa, it is commonly required to make some additional procedures, depending on the visa obtained and the length of the student's study program in UPV:

-If the stay + visa is equal or less than 180 days, no additional procedure is required.

-If the stay is longer than 180 days, students with a visa need to obtain a T.I.E. (Tarjeta de Identificación del Extranjero), during the first month after their entry in Spain or in a Schengen country and always before the visa expires.

-If the date of validity recorded on your stay permit is inferior to the total length of your studies in UPV, it is possible to request an extension of initial visa until the end date of your studies in UPV, according to their length. This extension must always be requested and be confirmed BEFORE the fingerprint for T.I.E. card.

Immigration Support Service UPV offers support to students on some procedures. Students provided with a digital certificate can do the procedures directly through official channels (Electronic Administration). NEVER do the procedures on the two channels (official/UPV) at the same time.
