Intercultural Dimension and Active Language Learning

The DI-AAL (Intercultural Dimension and Active Language Learning) research group has two primary research objectives: (1) to address the teaching/learning of specialised languages and their assessment through technological innovations and motivating state-of-the-art teaching methodologies; (2) the analysis of specialised discourses, from various study perspectives such as Sociolinguistics or Critical Discourse Analysis. As an essential part of higher education, the acquisition and evaluation of transversal competences is also approached. The members of the group work on these two main lines of research and train future researchers in them.
