Under the institutional sponsorship of the Spanish Acoustical Society (SEA) of the European Acoustics Association (EAA) and the Spanish Ministry of Science and Innovation (MICINN), this event is presented as a meeting of leading experts, national and international, in a new subject area in Spain: virtual reality techniques, simulation and auralization methodologies, subjective and objective assessment of real and virtual environments. Because of its open nature, this event will deal directly an issue of great interest, which still arises interesting questions to deal about room acoustics in general and the acoustic assessment of national architectural heritage. This event will bring together national and international scientists, acoustic specialists, architects, engineers, construction engineers, industry and professionals interested in Acoustics of enclosures in the development of objective and subjective measurements to optimize the quality of spaces in which factor audition is preferred, with the application of virtual simulation (with visual and aural sensation.) It also aims to be a forum for debate, nationally and internationally on experience in different public funded research projects.
