Master's Degree in Animal Husbandry Vera (València) Campus, Universitat Politècnica de València

Recent years have seen spectacular developments in the sciences related to the biology of domesticated animals. At the same time, research once confined to the laboratory has been widely popularized. Issues such as animal welfare, the quality and safety of animal produce (meat, milk, eggs) or the impact of livestock on the environment are a concern to society and are increasingly helping to shape the opinion and eating habits of consumers. It would therefore seem necessary to have a master's degree in the Spanish university system to train graduates and engineers from the field of animal husbandry. The aim is to promote and develop sustainable production (that continues to be rational and economically viable) and to introduce students to research which will underpin future developments in this field.
