The gala for the IV edition of the UPV Research Awards will take place on Tuesday, 4 November, at 6:00 p.m. in the auditorium of the Nexus building (6G) on the Vera campus.
To attend, you must register via this link. Places are limited, so register early to avoid disappointment.
The gala will be full of science, technology, dissemination and, above all, UPV talent. It will begin with the now-traditional question-and-answer game about UPV-branded R&D, as well as beyond our borders. And with a few surprises, which will be revealed during the awards ceremony.
In addition, the event also features the winners of the latest edition of the UPV Science Monologues Competition: María Pérez Sirvent, a researcher at the I3M Institute, who will present her monologue "Algebra, nothing more and nothing less"; Julia Pérez, a researcher at the IBMCP (UPV-CSIC), who will talk about the evolution of plants and their adaptation to the environment; and Francisca Ramón, a professor at the UPV, whose monologue "Law and the twisted" is a witty reflection on the double meanings of legal language.
This year, the gala will also include the participation of one of the leaders in scientific dissemination, the Institute of Astrophysics of Andalusia and its Im=P·r[0] project.
Four of its members - Manuel González, Inmaculada Rodríguez, Susana Aguilera Sancho, and Javier Faba Blanca - will surprise us by combining improv with scientific dissemination and cinema.
We look forward to seeing you on Tuesday, the 4th, in the Nexus auditorium, shortly before 6:00 pm.
