Verification of the documentation corresponding to degree certificates submitted as access requirements to a doctoral programme
Documents submitted as access requirement to a doctoral programme must be verified by the administrative services of the Doctoral School.
The scan documents are uploaded to the servers. These scans have the value of COPIES which must subsequently be verified by checking that these match an original document issued by authorised universities.
This verification can be carried out through various means:
- Physical submission at the offices of the Doctoral School of the originals for collation of the copies. Checking that the copies provided are true to their originals.
- Submission of documents (originals or copies) that can be verified through official WEB servers, either by their registration number, or which contain a digital signature.
- Sending of physical copies (paper) which have been verified (collated) before a notary public, duly signed and stamped by such notary public (of Spanish nationality or not).
For certificates issued outside the European Higher Education Area. The originals or copies must be authenticated either by the Apostille Convention or through diplomatic channels.
