This solidarity exhibition in support of the NGO Alanna has been made possible thanks to the collaboration of 40 UPV artists and a donation of 52 works. The exhibition will be open to the public from December 10 to 21. After December 18, all the exhibited works will be put up for sale. Among the pieces that make up the exhibition, there will be watercolours, canvases, sculptures, photographs, engravings and also publications of the Office of Cultural Activities at symbolic prices. Prices from €7 up to €140.
The Alanna Association was founded in 2002. It is made up of professionals, mostly women, trained in social work who are concerned with the social inclusion of the most vulnerable women in our society: victims of gender violence and ethnic minorities.
Alanna's mission is to contribute to the achievement and development of an inclusive, sustainable and egalitarian society, by carrying out local programmes for the social inclusion of the most vulnerable groups, particularly women, children and families, and collaborating with the social, political and business sectors in the fight against social exclusion.
