| Why? | ||||||
Because The Cavern is in Mathew Street. Because it is
almost with certainty the street with more direct references to The Beatles in the world. Pubs, shops.... it's a Beatles' world.

You can find Mathew Street in Liverpool, and believe me, this one won't be hard to find at all. Here's a map of the city centre to make things easier. But maybe you'd like a virtual trip around

Miscellanea
|
When visiting Mathew Street one has the impression of a contest by the
locals to get the most appealing Beatles related name for their
businesses. Like "The Cavern Walks" in which you can find a cafe called
"Lucy in the Sky with Diamonds". There is an "Abbey Road Pub" and another
called "John Lennon", and of course "The Beatles Shop".
