Resonant frequency of a wine glass

In this video, the principle of Franklin¿s glass armonica is demonstrated with a wine glass. The friction between the rim of glass and the finger generates vibrations in the sides of the glass. The glass will vibrate most easily at the resonant frequency which can be easily measured with a smartphone working as a sound spectrometer.
