Explanatory note admission and pre-registration:

This master's degree takes as Reference degree for access the Degree in Energy Engineering (GIE) of the UPV. Therefore,

  • 1. GIE (Energy Engineering) and GITI (Industrial Technologies Engineering): they have direct access.
  • 2. Graduates of other related degrees: they will have to take training supplements consisting of some GIE subjects at the UPV (a maximum of 18 ECTS depending on the case). Each case will be analysed individually by the Master's Academic Committee.

The selection of students for the Master is carried out by weighting 50% on the academic record, 40% on the affinity of the training received and professional experience with the GIE degree, and finally 10% on the other merits alleged in the CV.

The title, the academic record and the CV together with the DNI/NIE/Passport are the main documents that must be attached when pre-registering.

The language in which the classes are taught in the first semester is English, and in the second semester some subjects are taught in English and others in Spanish, which is why it is a requirement of the Master to have an accredited level of English B2 or equivalent (according to the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages).

Pre-registration:

To access this master's degree, you must pre-register through the UPV website.

The ordinary pre-registration period is usually from the end of May to the middle of June. You can consult the dates in the previous link to the UPV website.

For people from outside the European Union, there is normally a preliminary pre-registration phase called “Tanda Cero” in order to facilitate visa procedures. The UPV Student Service is in charge of this.

NOTE FOR “TANDA CERO”

Students who want to access with a non-approved foreign university degree, issued in an educational system outside the European Higher Education Area (EHEA), must pay an equivalence fee, so that the equivalence of their foreign degree is evaluated with the official Spanish ones, the current amount is €155.22. The payment of this fee is essential to complete the pre-registration process and for your candidacy to be assessed, but it does not presume admission.

Remember that, in general, prior to being admitted to MUTEDS you must make an adaptation consisting of a previous academic course of training complements, consisting of GIE subjects from the UPV (a maximum of 18 ECTS depending on the case) except that the studies of origin or the exercise of professional activity clearly provide training equivalent to that of GIE.

Tuition and Fees:

The cost of each MUTEDS ECTS credit is approximately 40 euros. However, these prices are set by the GVA Department of Education, and may vary from one year to another. They are published in the DOCV.
