Description

Master's Degree in Sensors for Industrial Applications


Introduction

The School of Design Engineering (ETSID) of the Universitat Politècnica de València presents the first Master's Degree in Sensors for Industrial Applications within the European Higher Education Area (EHEA) framework, according to Royal Decree 56/2005, of January 21, which regulates official university postgraduate studies.


Objectives

The overall objective of the Master's programme is to provide its future graduates with advanced and specialized training in sensor technology, from a multidisciplinary perspective, covering aspects of chemistry and electronic engineering applied to industrial processes in general, in order to train high-level technologists and researchers.


Addressed to

Graduates in:

    • Technical Industrial Engineering, specialising in Chemical Engineering

    • Technical Industrial Engineering, specialising in Electronic Engineering

    • Chemical Engineering

    • Electronic Engineering

    • Industrial Electronics and Control Systems Engineering

    • Bachelor's Degree in Chemical Engineering

    • Bachelor's Degree in Industrial Electronics and Automation Engineering

    • Bachelor's Degree in Chemistry

In the case of students having other degrees, the Master's Academic Committee will decide on the acceptance of their application.


Admission

Candidates will be selected by the Master's Academic Committee on the basis of their academic record, their curricular orientation and a personal interview.
