One of the most important decisions you will make as a student is choosing an undergraduate degree. When choosing, it is important to consider your interests, aptitude and personal skills as this will help you to successfully complete your university degree and develop a rich and satisfying professional life.
To help youngsters with this decision, the Universitat Politècnica de València (UPV) offers a vocational aptitude test, which is supported by statistical data. This simple tools asks question about how much information you have as a student, your motivation, how you study, what you excel at, topics you like the most, the nature of majority of your activities, your favourite academic tasks, where you imagine yourself working and what you would like to do.
Once you have answered these questions, the test displays two undergraduate degrees on the basis of the selected answers. Therefore, it is important that your answers are as truthful as possible. Do remember that the test only displays courses taught at the UPV and not those taught at other universities.
In no way does this test aim to replace the invaluable work of a counsellor. In fact, if you have questions or the result is not what you expected, do visit the Orientation Department at your centre.
Study something you really like. Do not think about cut-off grades. Dream. Fly.
